This was a quick and easy cake for Sylvie's 6th birthday. We went to Build-A-Bear, so I thought this cake was in keeping with the day.

Every cake I make teaches me something. This cake taught me that when using the grass decorating tip, you must pipe the "hair" onto the cake while the crumb coat (the thin layer of icing you apply to the cake to seal the crumbs) is still soft, otherwise the hair won't stick. This bear's hair fell out in clumps when we cut it. Eeeewwwww.
