This was my very first "big" decorated cake. It was for Lilly's first birthday and I really wanted to have lillies on her cake so I tried my hand at making royal icing flowers. I was very happy with the way this cake turned out. My brother, Jonathan, found a way to encase several of the lillies in a large acrylic disk which now sits on a shelf in Lilly's room. I love it.
