This was a very proud day for Daddy. Momma too, but I felt especially proud.

Lilly has a new fish. He does not yet have a name. Lilly would like to "change him to a girl" so that she can call him "Emmala", but I told her that I didn't think she'd like it if we changed her to a boy and started calling her "Frank". If you have any suggestions, we'd love to hear them.

Here is the "Nemo" cake I just finished for our neighbor. I hope she loves it. If you're wondering about Nemo, he's in the fish tank (which bubbles and the fish actually "swim" around). Everything else on the cake is edible. I made the coral, urchins, etc. out of royal icing and free-handed Dory and Marlin in buttercream. This cake hurts my eyes, but I'm happy with the way it turned out. It's a little "busier" (O.K., a LOT busier) than my typical cake but then again, the ocean is a busy place.
