Lilly started Kindergarten on Tuesday. Wow! If you haven't experienced it, there's just no way to understand how it feels. Steve and I had a serious case of first-day jitters. Lillian was mostly wide-eyed and quiet. It felt like, as a family, we were getting ready to step off the edge of a cliff together -- Lilly, putting her faith in us, trusting we wouldn't send her to some terrible place. We, as parents, placing our trust with the school system and the many nameless, faceless people who would soon be responsible for our child. But having faith in her made it easier... believing that she is strong and brave and ready for a new adventure. Here is Lilly and Kyle and Morgan...ready to embark on their journey. (Kyle was absolutley ready!)

It is truly amazing that Lilly is a Kindergartener now!
It seems like just yesterday she was a chubby "buddha" baby with 3 chins and an infectious giggle!
What a priceless photo this is too! Lilly looks so "wide eyed" (like you said) and she just looks "older" and "wiser"!
*Kyle looks so cool! I love the "look" he has going for him! What a character! I bet he keeps everyone laughing all the way to school on the bus!
Congrats to Lillian!
