Lilly's friend, Morgan, came for lunch and to play (actually, they mainly discussed princesses at length -- debating the merits of each. They also played "dress-up". Oh,...and there was some twirling).

They made Biscuit Pizzas (from my adolescence), which are a great and easy "cooking" activity to do with kids. Just get a can of biscuits (not the flaky kind) and let the "chefs" flatten them out on foil adding sauce, cheese and toppings as they like. Transfer to cookie sheets and bake as instructed on the biscuit can (although you may need to go a bit longer if the toppings are piled high as is the tendancy). And there you go...Biscuit Pizzas!!
